We believe God calls us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, through worship, love and service. The foundation of which begins with our name, Gloria Dei, which means, “Glory of God.” May the glory of God dwell within you and may the Holy Spirit refresh your heart with the assurance of God’s forgiveness, love, and peace.

We invite you to join us. Our hope is you will feel welcomed and invited. Please let us know if we can help you in any way. Our practice is to welcome all believers to Holy Communion. Christ is the host at the supper. It is He who invites us to the table of God’s grace.

Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost

Sunday, August 16, 2026 – 10:30 a.m.

Scripture Readings

  • Isaiah 56:1, 6-8
  • Psalm 67 (3)
  • Romans 11:1-2a, 29-32
  • Matthew 15:[10-20] 21-28

Communion

We celebrate Holy Communion each week. All believers are invited to partake. Children who have not received First Communion instruction may come forward for a blessing. Wine and grape juice are offered at holy communion. The white grape juice will be in the center of the tray. Gluten-free communion hosts are available. Please share this need with Susan or Alan prior to worship. If moving to the altar railing is difficult for you, speak to the Pastor or Assisting Minister and ask for communion to be administered at your seat.

If you are unable to attend Worship Service to receive communion, contact our office and ask for a visit from a Eucharistic Minister.
